Weekly Date Night Tuesdays is one way we've been getting back together and focusing more on "us" then the craziness of everyday life. With starting school soon, I'll never have weekends off and won't leave time to spend together unless we make time. I always cherish the time we spend together. Last night, after a long day at work, we went to the revolving sushi bar we took Jordon to when he visited not long ago. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get a spot but the long long ahead of us dwindled in no time at all. I couldn't wait to get my hands on some Vegas Rolls and Martin was drooling over Ell Rolls. We talked, played and joked throughout dinner. I felt so connected to him. It was nice. It actually felt like an official date. What can I say... Im still a goushy romantic. We held each other and spooned like a fresh couple. So we came up with a plan: Date Night Tuesdays. Doesn't have to cost a fortune or anything at all... as long as we're getting out of the house and spending time together. I hope we can keep it up. I had a good time and I think he did too!
Along with that... Call me super organized, but I decided to dedicate days to certain chores as well to ensure house chores get done when things get cray. Like... Laundry on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming every other Wednesday. Clipping/Organizing coupons and organizing bills on Sundays. Food shopping once a month and couponing on Mondays. Nothing set in stone, of course, but its a good start anyway. All of it should be pretty manageable, even if working the same day. Once I land this goal, I'll work on meal planning again. I used to make all my meals in a day for the entire week. I would like to get back to that habit. In time, anythings possible.
Good night all!
